David Hollenbeck is an experienced practitioner and educator in Workers’ Compensation Law, with extensive experience representing a wide range of governmental entities, including the City of Valparaiso, the Regional Development Authority (RDA), and the Northwest Indiana Regional Planning Commission.
Mr. Hollenbeck was named to the inaugural class of the American Bar Association (ABA) College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers in 2007. He serves as an adjunct professor at Valparaiso University School of Law and is a founding member of the AAJ Workers’ Compensation and Workplace Injury Section. He has also served on the AAJ Workers’ Compensation Advisory Committee and the Workers Injury Law and Advocacy group, and was a faculty member for the Workers’ Compensation College of Industrial Boards and Commissions. Recognized for his excellence in the field, he has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2000 and designated an Indiana Super Lawyer since 2005.
Active in community affairs, Mr. Hollenbeck has served on the governing boards of the Boys and Girls Club, Chamber of Commerce, and VU law and undergraduate alumni associations. At Immanuel Lutheran Church, he has been the President of the Church Council, a school board member, and a basketball coach. Since 1987, he has been a familiar figure at VU football and basketball games, where he operates time clocks and scoreboards.
